DORKINESS TO THE MAX!

Short post this morning!

Going to go play euro boardgames/magic cards with some friends

Is this dorky? y/y

Are any of you into boardgames or card games? I'm more into like normal card games with normal cards and normal video games... but my friends looove them some super complicated 4 hour board games.

    I like keeping it normal as well. Card games tend to get expensive really quick trying to stay on top of expansions, rules, and other specifics that come with more complicated games.

    I agree with Pandor42 and aGas...the biggest problem with Magic is how damned expensive it gets if you try to keep up with all the expansions. I've never really gotten into it for just that reason.

    That's also a small portion of why I'm into older video games rather than new ones. If I wait a few years, I get a console and all the games for it for about half the original sale price. No sense paying $60 for a game that might completely blow, or you might only play once.

    The only time I ever play board games or card games anymore is at family gatherings. I prefer video games.
