Nostalgia

You know what's GREAT? Nostalgia.

I was thinking back when I was 13ish maybe 14 I had a girlfriend named Jessica. The only girl I ever dated. I was the happiest guy EVER. She was 5 foot 9 and I was MAYBE 5 foot even. We dated for 2 weeks, but it was like 4 years in my mind. I had imagined that we were going to get married and have babies and a dog.

So perfect!

Then she was like "I'm breaking up with you because there is a guy I like more" My little heart was crushed!

I also remember one of my friends had alot of pogs and a wicked slammer called "Big Bertha" I was so jealous of him.

All of my friends were girls, so they played "Spice girls" and each was a different spice.. I got to be their manager that happened to partake in their dance numbers as well. I was a fabulous child.

Surprisingly accurate.

It's so funny how important some things SEEM at the time but you look back and laugh at them because of how ridiculous it was.

So tell me! What are some of your fondest/least fondest memories about being a kid?

@Ankiseth German is a hilarious language! My sister was learning it and she'd call me up and make me guess what random words meant.

@Eferhilda
Shouting ADVENTURE TIME! Is the best thing to do at any occasion.

@Mezzo Catorce
Jesus shopping day officially begins... I dunno If I could fathom a guess it would be Remembrance day, which is on the same day as Americans Veterans day.

  2. I just remember using inline skates to get EVERYWHERE. I lived in an industrial area so there was a lot walking over rocks and avoiding large cracks.

  7. When I was a kid I used to do do BMX. It was really fun, and when I see the kids areound my neighborhood building ramps and riding BMX bikes, it makes me nostalgia pretty hard.

  9. When I was 11 or 12, me and my friend would cruise the neighborhood on our scooters like badass motherfuckers. His dad gave him that grease shit to put on curbs and rails to grind on them. We made it maybe a foot tops and felt like pro-scooter..ers. Then we sat infront of my garage in lawn chairs on the driveway playing pokemon gold(I think that's the one) for hours on end eating fucking watermelon. It was awesome. And then he moved and I lost contact with him, BAWWWWWWWWWW

  12. You are wonderful and your blog is wonderful, and I shall follow you to the ends of the earth, good sir! not in a bad/creepy way, just like in the way that those thirsty ppl followed Moses.

    Really I think you should get a website URL and start publishing your comics as a weekly thing. You are good enough and your humor is good enough to go very, very far. I hope to see you hit your stride here, for reals.

  13. I can recall things from the past by a smell or a piece of music.

    The funniest thing I can think of right now is the fact that there is a soap I used to wash my hands with at the same time that I was playing world of warcraft.

    I was just questing in hinterlands, and I think I was sick or something because I must have washed my hands alot..

    Anyways, I cannot recall right now what the soap smells like or even what it is called, but when I smell it it smells like "hinterlands" to me..
    That's weird ^^

  14. ADVENTURE TIME!!

    Now that that is out of the way. Hmm...moment in my childhood that was awesome...I think that would be when I use to play with my sisters and their barbies. Though we were all girls I was the Tom boy of the lot so my ninja turtles use to date their barbies and would go on road trips with them in their very kickass pink RV. My ninja turtles were seriously pimps in their day :P
